UPDATES:

We have now officially launched our regional website: 'eamgf.org' so if you haven't seen it yet please check it out, and bookmark it as one of your favourites! It has an events page so you can see up and coming meets, a photo gallery page, and a comprehensive links page. We hope that you find it useful. If you have any comments or recommendations please let one of us know, as we welcome your feedback.

For our monthly meet in November we returned to the Ship Inn at Holywell. Again the weather was fantastic, and with Christmas around the corner we had a more traditional Sunday roast, and natter, in the lounge around an open fire.

Because our meets in 2006 had traditionally been the last Sundays in the month we decided to give the December meet a miss - because we didn't anticipate a big turn out on either Christmas eve or New Years eve! Instead we met up for a convoy to the F Register Xmas natter for a giant Xmas meet. On route we stopped off twice to meet up with cars from the Herts Wheels region, and had a good sized convoy arrive at the Doghouse in Abingdon. It was a good turnout - over 80 people we believe! The annual awards were presented, with the traditional Christmas quiz, and MG Christmas Cake. The merchandise stall was also busy with the release of the first 'F Register Calendar', new style 'F Register Fleeces', and the anticipated release of the 'F Register Sweden DVD' - click here if you would like to see more. In January we made an appearance at the MGCC run to Sandringham. There was a great selection of MG cars from the Anglia region including a rather tasty TF (original one). Sandringham was a nice venue to finish at, with an outside ice rink built for entertainment.

On January 14th we did a run to the Herts Wheels meet in Hitchin - with a good turnout for the beginnning of the year - Click here for photos of the event.

The annual 'MG Show' at Stoneleigh Park is on 25th February.

This is a traditional event, and autojumble, for all MG marques. The F Register will be there with a stand and selection of cars on display.

This is the first national event of the year, and cars will be convoying in from across the country. Details of ticket purchase can be found by clicking here.

Stuck for something to do on Sunday 28th January?

MG Rover.org are having a meet in Northamptonshire.

A good selection of F/TF's should be there.

Know of a good pub in Norfolk, Suffolk or Cambs?

This year we want to get out and about across the region - especially when the top down weather returns - so we can do some nice country runs!

If you know of any good pubs / restaurants / venues, or have heard of a good one and want to check it out, let us know. As reps we will do the organising - so no need to worry about the difficult stuff. We are setting up a list of pubs to visit on our forum. If you can help please let us know by adding details on there bly clicking here.
