UPDATES:

Our monthly meet for October was held at The Old Ferryboat Inn, at Holywell, and we were extremely lucky as the weather held out - in fact it hardly seemed like winter was here at all! We had a great turnout of 11 cars and 21 people! We had a special visit from two new F Register Regional Reps (Spike and Giant Bradley) who had travelled down from Yorkshire and the Pennines! For each of them it was roughly a round trip of over 300 miles. As a special thanks they were both awarded a bottle of Old Speckled Hen for their efforts.

The venue was fantastic, with everyone sitting in the function room, with tables set up in a board room style. Regrettably it was nearly a case of boredom because the resturant was short staffed and it took a long time to have our food orders delivered. These things can't be helped, everyone kept each other entertained, and the furniture was just about saved from being eaten as a substitute! We all had a good natter following the meal. On Sunday November 5th we went on a visit to the Herts Wheels monthly meet in Hitchin. Another good turnout, and there was a special themed Bonfire quiz as well.

Regrettably Debs couldn't join us for that run, because she was with the MG Drag Racing Club at Santa Pod. The good news though is that Debs achieved a 14.001secs @ 101.08mph!! Well done Debs and Blue Thunder!

If you get the chance, check out the thread on the Xmas natter that is being held in Abingdon. There should be a good turnout - about 60 people so far! You can stay the night on the Saturday, but some of us should be convoying down on the Sunday if you wish to join us.

We are meeting at 'The Ship Inn' at Brandon Creek on the A10.

We will travel in convoy to meet up with Herts Wheels, and then continue to Abingdon.

This is a popular event, the last national event of the year, and well worth attending.
